Euraba Paper Artists

Euraba Artist and Papermakers are an Aboriginal artistic social enterprise. Responding to the artistic aspirations of the Goomeroi people, initiatives focus on exploring the generational relationships between our people, our distinctive artistic practice and our environment.

Founded by nine senior Goomeroi women from the Toomelah and Boggabilla communities, in North-Western, New South Wales. The name Euraba translates as 'Eura' referring to the indigenous bush that has been used medicinally by the Goomeroi people for generations, and 'ba' meaning 'place of/time of'.

We express the outcomes of this exploration artistically using paper. Our initiatives are the mechanism for artists and community to work with and reshape their social reality.
